  Adult Group Riding Lessons

Riding horses isn't just for kids!

Pinewood Stable will be offering summer horseback riding lessons for adults who have little or no experience with horses and have always wanted to learn how to ride a horse, or just to see what all the excitement is about!  Horseback riding offers so many benefits for everyone.  It improves your overall physical fitness by increasing your strength and endurance, it increases your body’s ability to balance, and is a wonderful stress reducer.

Our classes are relaxed with the emphasis on learning and having fun.  We will cover all the basics of horsemanship including horse care, grooming, how to saddle, ground work and beginner riding.  Each student will be assigned their own gentle, friendly horse to create a partnership that is built on communication and mutual understanding.

Sess 1: June 2, 9, 16 & 23.  6:30pm - 7:30pm

Sess 2: August 4, 11,18 & 25.  6:30pm - 7:30pm

Pinewood Stables was started by the Hilligoss Family in 2000. Our name came from a fond memory of the owner/founder's parents' hometown of Pinewood, Ontario. We started out as a small hobby farm just for our own few horses, then we grew into something bigger as the family got involved in 4-H and Saddle Club. As the family's interest and knowledge grew, they became involved in more horse-related activities  such as showing in different disciplines, gaming and other competitions; and training.
